They were sent to television stations and other news media.

This press kit was to promote the WB's 1999 season for their prime-time shows. It was divided by days and had show descriptions, cast bios and pics, producer bios, advertising schedules for radio and TV for each of the shows in their lineup. (The one I have came in a plain black binder. This press kit was sent to the members of the TCA (aka The Television Critics Associoation) to promote the upcoming shows on the summer and fall schedule for the WB It had advertising slicks and decsriptions of each show for their day and evening lineups and some publicity slides. This is a press kit given to the media to advertise Roswell season 1.

This press kit was to promote the WB's 1999 season for their prime-time shows. It only contains pictures and slides and has no other content. It was divided by show and has multiple black and white slick publicity photos for each show as well as several slides. It also includes a list of all the photos and slides in it. The press slicks were the same 9 that came in the Roswell Season 1 Press Kit. (seen above) and the pic of Max and Liz that was in the TCA press kit. There were also 14 slides included - four of the whole cast, two of Max/Liz and the rest were individual shots of the main 8 characters.
