Morning After
Synopsis:
|
- Day 1 (the Monday after the Crash Festival - Sept 27th)
Michael is obsessed with seeing the picture that Sheriff Valenti showed to Liz from 1959, hoping it can lead him to the 4th alien.
- Day 2 (appears to be the next day - Sept 28th)
Michael starts surveillance on the Sheriffs station. Liz is suspicious of a new substitute teacher, Kathleen Topolsky, who asks about Michael. Liz tells her suspicions to Maria who wants to tell Alex, but Liz doesnt agree.
Max thinks Liz is being paranoid and tells her to just act normal. Max & Liz start to get closer but Isabel doesnt approve. And while Liz just thinks of Kyle as a casual relationship, he wants more from her.
Liz sees Topolsky with Michaels file, and thinking he is in danger goes to his house to warn him.
The Sheriff feeling paranoid about the FBI being in town takes a key out of the file containing the picture of the corpse from 1959, and hides it. Meanwhile Michael goes to the Sheriffs office pretending to sell candy to gather intel on the station for a possible break-in.

Michael tells Max that men in suits are taking files out of the Sheriffs office and they need to get in. Max says no, and warns Michael to stay away from home. Max and Liz go to spy on Topolsky at Michaels house.
Alex is suspicious of Maria and Liz and confronts them, but they satisfy him with excuses. Kyle sees Liz with Max and follows them to Michaels, making noise and alerting Topolsky to their presence. Max takes Liz home and finds Isabel waiting for him to tell him that Michael has disappeared.
