Roswell Fan Gift Suggestions
I often get people asking me if I have suggestions of gifts to give their friends who are Roswell fans,
so here is a list of ideas I've been giving to people.
If you have other ideas, please send them in!
Gift Suggestions
Some of the below ideas cost more than others and some require more time and artistic ability.
- Put together a collection of clippings from magazines in a binder or make a collage, or decoupage something with them like a journal, frame, shadow box or a keepsake box. I have a ton of clippings for sale at very reasonable prices.
- Autographed pictures of the Roswell actors often aren't too much on ebay.
- Roswell novels. Some are kind of pricey on ebay, but most you can find for $10 and under.
- A script of their favorite episode - if it is available on ebay at the time to buy, or you can print a transcript from my transcripts section. And you could put it in a decorated binder.
- Roswell publicity photos - sometimes available on ebay.
- Roswell trading cards. Give them a set, or get creative with them. You could make a collage, or decoupage something with them like a journal, frame, shadow box or a keepsake box. I have a ton of extra cards for sale at very reasonable prices.
- Print some of their favorite fanfiction and put them together in a binder that you decorate.
- Make a diorama of a favorite place in the show or favorite scene from the show.
- Get dolls, plush or even plastic aliens and make clothes like Crashdown or UFO Center uniforms for them.
- Get wooden doll cutouts at the craft store, or make cardboard ones, and paint them to look like Roswell characters
- Make custom paper or felt dolls
- Have custom action figures made
- Create a scrapbook using photos, clippings, quotes, etc from the show and/or memories from your experiences with Roswell.
- Make a CD or playlist of music from the show. Yes CDs are old school, but so is Roswell! And you can make a custom cover for the CD.
- Make custom DVD covers
- Put together some trivia questions from the show
- Make custom Crossword puzzle. There are sites on the internet that will do this for you! I often use the one on the Discovery site PuzzleMaker. You create the puzzle online and you don't have to install or download anything
- Make custom Roswell Madlibs. You can do it here - Mad Glibs
- Make a custom floating charm locket or charm bracelet with charms that represent characters or couples. The charms don't have to be exact representations but things that the character likes or is know for, like a diary for Liz, music notes or a microphone for Maria, a motorcycle for Michael, strawberries for Max and Liz, etc. You could include alien, UFO, hearts, stars or moons charms, or charms of character initials. You could include charms that represent a ship name like a candy charm for Candy or charms that says Dream for Dreamers, stars or a telescope for Gazer, etc.
If they write fanfiction, you could get charms that represent their stories, or represent something that is a big part of the story. Like for my stories I could use a clock for Waiting, or an angel for Soaring with Angels.
- This one is a bit more esoteric - Put together a gift bag of things mentioned in the show, or things the characters like, movies or music mentioned, Cherry Coke (the aliens liked it), generic shampoo (Michael gave to Maria), strawberry body wash (Max gave to Liz), a box of chocolates (Michael pretended to sell them for charity), pearl earrings (Michael gave to Maria), a packet of hot chocolate (Liz spilled some on Isabel), a pocket knife (Liz gave to Max), and of course Tabasco! There are a million possibilities of things you could use and you could be as obvious or obscure as you want. You could include other stuff like photos, clippings, trading cards, scripts, etc. And you will have fun discussing and reminiscing.
