RoswellGirl1234 meets Jason Behr

I met Jason, thankfully there are photos because I don't remember any of it. I was so star struck! I remember telling him he was the best actor I'd ever seen, and meant it. He was adorable. His demeanor is very low key, he speaks softly and was so incredibly polite!!!!

One day a co-worker received an email from a Minneapolis radio station announcing that the NBA Entertainment League (which was a celebrity basketball team) was coming to Minnesota to help promote our female pro basketball team, the Minnesota Lynx. They were also offering tickets to attend a VIP night on Saturday, August 3, 2002, with the members of the League, which included Coolio, Rob Estes, Ashton Kutcher, Danny Masterson, Eddie Cibrian, and Jason Behr.

The event was held at the Quest Club in Minneapolis. My daughter and son attended with me. They first time I saw him was on a stage in the Club along with all the other League members. An announcer blathered on about something, I have no idea, because I couldn't believe I was in the same room with him. Each one said a few words and then they came down to the floor. I walked straight to him, shook his hand and thanked him for Roswell, saying "you changed my life" and he said "for the better I hope." He was very soft spoken and engaged in the conversation. He asked my name and once again, no idea what I told him. I did tell him he was the most amazing actor I've ever seen and was very humble and said "wow, that's really a nice thing to say." My daughter took photos, thankfully. You can see how great he was, always had eye contact and smiles. I'm not sure who's arm came up first, his or mine, ha. It was unbelievable.

As years went by I was saddened that he didn't expand his career. I own every movie he made, but he was a bigger talent than where his career went. He married a lovely girl and they now have a son, Atticus. So I'm very happy for him.
